Presentation
The Journal of Osteology and Biomaterials has as its primary objective the incorporation
of the various branches of bone science and biomaterials into a single forum in which
to increase knowledge and progress made by research and clinicians and to provide
a peer-
Studies
on bone implants and regeneration have undergone a rapid expansion and growth rate
in the past years. From basic research to clinical applications there has been a
plethora of new publications in biomedical journals covering areas of biology, orthopaedics,
biomechanics and biomaterials. JOB explores the knowledge that, in the past, was
specific competence of the differenc disciplines: the biology of bone, the healing
of bone and the use of biomaterials. Today there are numerous fields of research
that study bone biology and biomaterials, each with their own specific point of view.
Nonetheless, in the international scientific panorama there are almost no journals
that combine these different fields extensively.
The JOB welcomes relevant clinical
and research articles to all applications of bone biomaterials including implantable
